Building upon the success of the February 27th "Chicago Tea Party" Rallies, many of the organizers are now working to develop an even larger day of protests set to happen on April 15th, 2009. These protest rallies are known as the Tax Day Tea Party... and they are popping up all over the nation.
Tea Parties being held on April 15th are being sponsored by groups and individuals, such as Smart Girl Politics, TCOT (Top Conservatives on Twitter), Don'tGo Movement, and Michelle Malkin. All of these organizations are promoting the Nationwide Tax Day Tea Parties taking place in cities across the US.
You can go to www.taxdayteaparty.com and click on your state to find a list of parties being held. There have already been some parties in Texas, but many more are still waiting for Tax Day on April 15th.
